"Pollen in the Sun" :60
Music: William Grant Still: Symphony No. 1 ‘Afro-American’, third movement
The POV follows a yellow butterfly flying in a field. When she flies above a hill the Zoomars petting zoo is revealed from the grass wall. A beautiful landscape with green grass, cows, horses, goats, and chickens all within view. The butterfly leads us to the cows where they are grazing and chatting amongst themselves. The butterfly lands on a flower adjacent to the cow furthest on the right, and is no longer the center of attention. The attention is shifted to the cows’ conversation.
Roger: Hey, Johnny, you hear anything about the next group?
Johnny: No, but if they’re anything like the last they’ll be pulling our ears and braiding our tails before you can say “how do you do?”
Muriel: Guys, here comes Mr. Grass!
Roger: I wonder if he put his shoes on the right feet today.
The cows moo and snicker in unison as Mr. Grass approaches with fresh hay. He is sniffling and appears unwell as he grabs a handkerchief from his pocket and blows his nose.
Mr. Grass: Howdy, here. Some fresh hay and water for the lovely dalmatian-horses.
Mr. Grass winds up a big sneeze as the next group of children arrive with their parents and run to the cows. Roaring with laughter, the cows realize the kids have arrived and perk up with excitement.
Johnny: Guys, they’re here!
Mr. Grass is pushed aside as the rush of kids crowd the cows. Mr. Grass has a sneezing fit while the cows laugh at him relentlessly. The children are excited and happy, and everyone is thoroughly entertained except for Mr. Grass.
VO: At Zoomars, there’s good old fashioned fun for everyone.
SFX: Mooing
VO: Really, everyone.
Mr. Grass: Y’all go on without me, I’ll just be over here getting my bearings… and my boogies.
The yellow butterfly is back and lands on Mr. Grass’s nose, it makes him sneeze again.
SFX: Loud moos.
Final frame is Zoomars logo.
